MR. DANTE CRUZ
The brand and the service culture builder of HBG. He has been in the service industry for 28 years. He managed five hotel properties of a known Filipino hotel brand, and successfully launched the first hotel for Overseas Filipino Workers and the first hotel for Balikbayans during the early 2000s.
During the mid and late 2000s, he spearheaded sales missions conducted in Hawaii, California, London, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai, Oman, Singapore, and Hong Kong, creating awareness and inducing trial from the targeted markets, the OFWs and Filipino Emigrants, therefore successfully establishing the OFW and Balikbayan hotels to their niche market.
He opened and managed a boutique hotel in Camp John Hay, Baguio City for 3 years (2011-2014); and opened another boutique hotel in the heritage village of Vigan City in 2014. He had served as the Director for Operations of 3 other hotels of another hotel business group during that year.
In 2015, he opened another boutique hotel in Boracay and made it the number 1 accommodation in TripAdvisor under the bed and breakfast category. With the help of his team, this property became multi-awarded. This Boracay property is under full management up to the present.
